Lodging for June 2006 Conference

A block of rooms has been reserved at the brand new (opened in December 2005) Hyatt Regency Convention Center, located in downtown Denver, just across from the Denver Convention Center. All conference sessions will be held in this hotel. (Please note that there is also a Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver--it is 4 blocks away and is NOT the conference hotel) Rooms are modern and high-tech, with excellent network connectivity and work space. The hotel is convenient to restaurants and shopping with free public transportation within a very short walk.

We were able to negotiate the rate for our block to equal the prevailing government rate in Denver at the time of the conference ($124 plus tax). For those who want to bring a spouse, double occupancy is the same rate as single. Since this is our conference rate, government ID is not required.

EXPIRED May 18, 2006

Note that Sunday and Tuesday nights sold out in our block before it expired. Reservations are now on a space available basis. The hotel is sold out on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. If you are a speaker or presenter and have trouble getting a reservation, contact us at conference@scidac.org to see if we can help (we had a small number of rooms held in reserve at the conference rate--but they are going fast).

Note:
The DOD HPCMP Users Group will be meeting in Denver the same week, at the Grand Hyatt ~4 blocks away.
