Middleware Technology to Support Science Portals

A project to create grid science portals that are not tied to web browsers by developing techniques to integrate grid science portals into the users desktops, by selecting and integrating technologies for synchronous and asynchronous collaboration, and by developing techniques for code mobility. It will benefit scientists that execute applications in computational grids—the benefit is general and applies to many types of applications.
